EQUIPMENT

RTU-325KZ data acquisition unit

Data acquisition and transmission unit for automated metering, telecontrol and process data systems. It connects measuring devices, equipment signals and supervisory systems: collects and processes information, maintains a local archive, transfers measurements and events, and executes remote control commands.

Key benefits of RTU-325KZ

Faster access to collected data

Supervisory systems retrieve RTU data instead of polling every device sequentially over a remote link. This reduces delays in accessing collected information, including one-minute profiles when supported by meters.

Local collection and archiving

On-site collection and storage reduce dependence on central server availability. Collected data can be transferred when the link returns. Archive depth depends on the data set and collection intervals.

Measurements, states and commands

Telemetering and status signals show site conditions. Remote commands operate through built-in outputs or compatible external modules according to the engineered control scheme.

Different devices in one system

Ethernet and serial interfaces connect meters, measuring instruments and I/O modules. Supported protocols enable integration of existing equipment and phased system expansion.

A basis for equipment diagnostics

Process parameters, states and events support trends, anomaly detection and condition analysis. Failure prediction and process-control recommendations are implemented in supervisory software.

Beyond energy metering

Collects energy import/export, power and network parameters. Where devices support them, power-quality and harmonic data are collected for further analysis.

Consistent time and diagnostics

Time synchronisation, event logs, self-diagnostics and remote settings help correlate events, identify faults and reduce site visits.

Redundancy to project requirements

Dual power inputs, a watchdog and industrial construction improve node resilience. Critical sites can use redundant links and RTUs, including multi-device hot standby.

Controlled communications and access

Access control and event logging complement exchange through a common node. Process-network segmentation and secure links are engineered as part of the site project.

Available protocols, client/server roles and device support are confirmed for the chosen software version. Profiles and harmonics depend on connected device capabilities. Data volume, update interval, archive depth and device/protocol compatibility require technical review. External modules are selected separately and do not change the standard model code.

Applications

Process data system

Process parameters, states and events support trends, anomaly detection and condition analysis. Failure prediction and process-control recommendations are implemented in supervisory software.

Automated metering

Collects energy import/export, power and network parameters. Where devices support them, power-quality and harmonic data are collected for further analysis.

Central gateway functions

Ethernet and serial interfaces connect meters, measuring instruments and I/O modules. Supported protocols enable integration of existing equipment and phased system expansion.
