B08 - 4 RS-232/422/485 ports (DB-9) plus 4 RS-422/485 ports (DB-9 via a DB-37 breakout cable).*
Power supply: 10-36 VDC.
Monitor connections: 2 ports - 1 × HDMI and 1 × DisplayPort (DP).
Interfaces support a monitor, keyboard and mouse for operator interaction. The USB port accepts a HASP key, the hardware carrier of the device-specific licence code.
Typical peripheral standards referenced in the documentation:
* The built-in serial ports have no surge protection or opto-isolation.
The product’s mean time to failure is 250,000 hours.
Retrieving previously collected information from a local archive reduces the delays associated with directly polling large numbers of devices, including when retrieving one-minute load profiles.
Collection of data on electricity consumption and export, power and network parameters, as well as power quality indicators, including the harmonic content of voltages and currents.*
If communication with the central server is temporarily lost, the unit continues collecting and storing data locally and transmits it after the connection is restored.
Distributed data collection at individual sites reduces the load on the central server and allows the system to expand while maintaining timely access to information.
The intermediate layer makes it possible to restrict direct access to devices and establish controlled data exchange between the operational network and higher-level systems.
The unit can be configured, diagnosed and maintained through a remote connection without requiring an AMR specialist to visit the site.
Familiar tools at the intermediate and supervisory levels simplify system maintenance, reduce configuration time and enable centralized support for distributed sites.
* The available indicators depend on the capabilities of the connected devices and software support for their protocols.
